Only 42 since February '06... I'm slackin'
I can tell you that as of today, I have 42 pets on my main. A fair amount, but not really all that many considering I've been playing WoW for over 5 1/2 years.
Once the account-wide pet change goes into action that number will bump up a few spots, but I still don't think I even have 50 unique pets across my entire account.
Time to get collecting!

I think I have about 130. I still want more though 😛
